This hand-drawn linear print is inspired by the clutter of sculptors’ studios – materials, tools, and unfinished artwork arrested in a state of suspended creation, like an unintentional assemblage, reflecting the artist’s creative cosmos. In Sculpting, forms from Brancusi, Jean Arp, Valentine Schlegel and Barbara Hepworth merge into a precarious and whimsical sculpture of their own.
